Certain Thermador wall oven models produced between March 2004 and January 2007 (namely, single and combo models) may pose a potential fire hazard when operated in the self-clean mode, due to the possibility of a gap in the oven's side-panel insulation. No injuries have occurred but some cases of fire damage has been reported.Do not put the oven into self-clean until the oven's insulation has been checked, and if necessary repaired, by a Thermador-authorized service technician.Thermador will inspect, and if necessary repair, the affected ovens free of charge.
