Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
2 ounces vodka
2 ounces Godiva chocolate liquor
3 ounces espresso
1 cup water
1/4 cup whole cardamom
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (to rim the edge of martini glass)
1/3 bar of your favorite coffee chocolate (garnish)
2 pirouette pastries (optional garnish)
Directions
1. For the cardamom simple syrup, place a pot on cooktop, add water, whole cardamom, and sugar. Turn Liberty Induction to PowerBoost and bring to a boil. Once at a boil place at level 7 for 15 minutes. Strain liquid into a separate container and allow syrup to come to room temperature for at least 15 minutes. Place simple syrup inside refrigerator and activate Super Cool Function. Keep in the refrigerator until completely cooled down.
2. Brew 3 ounces of espresso with coffee machine to your preferred strength.
3. Dip edges of martini glass into simple syrup and rim with cocoa powder.
4. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; add vodka, chocolate liquor, espresso, 1/4 ounce cardamom simple syrup. Shake vigorously about 30-45 seconds.
5. Pour into rimmed martini glass and microplane your favorite chocolate in as a garnish.
