Air Fryer Parmesan Meatballs
Make a batch of homemade parmesan meatballs for your next party appetizer or pasta dinner. The air fryer makes them quick and easy to cook with a nice crispy outside. Makes about (20) 1.5” meatballs Serves 4-5 Ingredients For the meatballs 1/2 pound ground beef 1/2 pound ground pork 1/4 cup breadcrumbs 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan 1/4 cup finely minced shallots or onion 1 egg 3 Tablespoons minced parsley 3 cloves garlic, minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon salt Black pepper, to taste Oil or oil spray, for coating meatballs For serving tomato sauce, bread or pasta |
We recommend letting the oven preheat for 5-7 minutes for maximum crispiness when using Air Fry. __ Note there is no preheat indicator bar when using Air Fry.
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F on Air Fry Mode for about 15 minutes. Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.
2. Mix the meatball ingredients until evenly combined (ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, parmesan, shallot/onion, egg, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper).
3. Form the mixture into 1.5” meatballs. Spray parchment with oil. Place meatballs on top and spray oil over meatballs.
4. Air fry the meatballs at 400°F for 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through. Test one meatball and if it is still pink in the middle, air fry for additional 2-4 minutes or until cooked through the center.
5. Serve with tomato sauce and bread as appetizer or serve with spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
