Air Fryer Parmesan Meatballs

Make a batch of homemade parmesan meatballs for your next party appetizer or pasta dinner. The air fryer makes them quick and easy to cook with a nice crispy outside.

Makes about (20) 1.5” meatballs

Serves 4-5

Ingredients
For the meatballs
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
1/4 cup finely minced shallots or onion
1 egg
3 Tablespoons minced parsley
3 cloves garlic, minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
Black pepper, to taste
Oil or oil spray, for coating meatballs

For serving
tomato sauce, bread or pasta

We recommend letting the oven preheat for 5-7 minutes for maximum crispiness when using Air Fry. __ Note there is no preheat indicator bar when using Air Fry.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F on Air Fry Mode for about 15 minutes. Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.

2. Mix the meatball ingredients until evenly combined (ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, parmesan, shallot/onion, egg, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper).

3. Form the mixture into 1.5” meatballs. Spray parchment with oil. Place meatballs on top and spray oil over meatballs.

4. Air fry the meatballs at 400°F for 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through. Test one meatball and if it is still pink in the middle, air fry for additional 2-4 minutes or until cooked through the center.

5. Serve with tomato sauce and bread as appetizer or serve with spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
