There Is No Steam or Too Much Steam
No steam - If there is no steam visible at high temperatures, this is normal. At temperatures above 248°F, the steam will become invisible. If there is still no steam visible at low temperatures, the oven needs to be descaled. Run the descaling program learn more here. Descaler can be purchased in the Thermador Accessories Store.
Too much steam - If there is too much steam escaping from the top of the steam convection oven, the oven is not calibrated. Refer to your owner's manual to learn how to calibrate your oven.

There Is Condensation Inside or Outside of the Steam Oven
If there is condensation inside the oven, this is normal. Condensation is normal since moisture will evaporate from the food during the cooking process. When foods with high moisture content are prepared, increased condensation will accumulate in the cooking compartment or inner pane of the door.
If there is condensation on the outside of the steam oven, the appliance ventilation system is not working or the appliance door is not sealed properly.
- Check the installation and consult the installation instructions. If you do not have the installation instructions, you can download it here.Only well-ventilated appliances can remove moisture properly.
- Check whether the door seal is damaged or jammed. If needed, schedule a service visit.
The Steam Oven Does Not Reach the Correct Temperature.
Check whether the water tank is completely inserted. If the water tank is inserted correctly, please reset the appliance to the factory settings. Repeat the initial use settings and calibration. Refer to your owner’s manual to learn how to do this. If you do not have an owner's manual, you can download it here.
The Refill Water Tank Symbol Appears Even Though the Tank Is Full
Check if the water tank is properly inserted. If it is, there may be something wrong with the detection system and you will have to schedule a service visitto get this fixed.

Turn the appliance off at the breaker for 1 minute, then turn it back on. The oven latch should retract.
For self-cleaning ovens, enter the Self-Clean Cycle for 2 minutes then exit the Self-Clean Cycle. Be sure to remove all oven accessories & racks from the oven beforehand. The door latch will retract. If the issue persists, please contact Thermador Customer Support at 1-800-735-4328.
