Ventilation - Usage & Appliance Features

Knowing your Ventilation model number, serial number, and other product information can be helpful at times, such as when ordering supplies or calling customer support. This video helps you identify your Ventilation type and locate its rating plate where the information can be found.

Controls: Number 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 allow you to adjust fan speed (0 is off and 4 is the highest setting).

Automatic Mode: Press AUTO to turn on the automatic mode. This will automatically adjust the fan speed according to your needs while cooking depending on heat levels from your cooktop.

10-Minute Delay Off: Press DELAY to start a 10-minute timer, that will shut the fan off after 10 minutes. To interrupt the Delay feature press the 0 to turn the hood off. This is great to use after cooking to remove any lingering odors in the kitchen.

Filter: The FILTER icon will illuminate to remind you to clean the hood filter. Learn how to clean them here. To reset the filter button after cleaning hold the FILTER button for 2 or more seconds.

Light: Touch LIGHT on the control panel to control the task lighting. This button controls the LED lighting. The first press turns the lights on. A second press dims the lights. A third press turns the lights off. For Wi-Fi Enabled models you can use the Home Connect^® app to control the light level from 0-100% on a light to obtain the perfect level of light. Controls: All hood controls, located on the right side panel and are visible when the hood is raised. You can adjust the speed by pressing 0, 1, 2 or 3 (0 is off and 3 is the highest setting).

Select Ventilation models are Wi-Fi Enabled which allows for remote monitoring and control of lights and fan speed, notification to clean the grease filter via Home Connect^® app, works with smart home devices and services like Amazon Alexa.
