The instructions below are general guidelines for resetting the filter alert based on each refrigerator series. If these instructions do not apply to your refrigerator, find more specific reset instructions in your owner’s manual here.
Unsure which series you have? The 6th digit of your model number refers to your refrigerator series:
For example, if your model number is T24IR70NSP, you have a 700 series refrigerator. If your model number is T24IR100SP, you have a 100 series refrigerator.

100 Series
After replacing your water filter, select Go to Filter Management shown on your display’s filter alert. This will take you to the filter management screen. At the top, you will see a water filter section. Click Reset in the top right-hand corner to remove the filter alert and reset your water filter tracker.
700 / 800 Series
After replacing your water filter or inserting a bypass filter/cartridge, simultaneously hold down the SETUP and ICE buttons for three seconds to remove the filter alert.
Need to reactivate the alert? Press the SUPER and ICE buttons simultaneously for three seconds.
900 Series
After replacing your water filter, open the settings menu on your display. Select Reset Water Filter Counter from the menu to remove the filter alert.
If you have replaced your filter with a bypass filter/cartridge, switch the water filter tracker off as well. Open your settings and select the Appliance Settings menu. Locate Water Filter Counter on the menu and use the Pencil icon to update your setting and turn the tracker off.
